Sea turtles are animals that intrigue me because of their colorful and patterned shells, as well as their beautiful and intricate scales that vary in size. I wanted to emphasize these unique qualities that the sea turtles possess by applying acrylic paint while using a palette knife, in order to achieve a textured appearance in the sea turtle's shell and scales.
