Hoping to capture the whimsical, free spirit of birds, I used a quote from an anonymous author, to bring this small piece to life. Collage, gouache, chalk paint, and gold leaf were used in this mixed media piece on wood panel. It is finished with a gilded gold cradle and cold wax.
