Welcome to MCA's The Brick Gallery!

Marion Cultural Alliance (MCA), a nonprofit, 501(c)3 was established in 2001, with its inaugural effort, the Horse Fever public art project. MCA’s mission is to champion, convene, and create opportunities for artists and arts organizations. MCA supports activities relating to the arts, historical and scientific museums, and specific education through grants, advocacy, fundraising, and partnerships.

MCA has donated over $1.5 million to the arts and other charitable organizations in Ocala/Marion County and established a Cultural Endowment fund of $900,000. MCA has supported local arts organizations with over $310,000 through its annual Cultural Grant Awards.

MCA also operates Brick City Center for the Arts, a popular art gallery, located in historic downtown Ocala. Monthly rotating exhibits feature art by regional artists. The venue, and its adjacent courtyard, is a sought after rental for special events.

Bridget Hanley

Bridget is an Artist, Calligrapher and Picture Framing Specialist at Bridget Hanley Studio in Dunnellon FL. Her passion includes painting and calligraphy and her inspiration comes from the many facets of the Florida lifestyle. Amazing sunsets, beautiful landscapes, and her life long career with horses lends her to her colorful paintings in many themes. Her full service studio is located on Lake Rousseau, where she resides with her husband Jim and her fur babies, Lucy and Madelyn. Formerly a show horse trainer and rider, Bridget moved to Florida in 2017 and now dedicates her career to her art. From realism to Real Wow-ism, her flow art paintings are one of a kind.
